CoronaVirus: Gov. Ishaku Gives Stay-at-Home Order to Civil Servants for Two Weeks


In The bit to contain  the spread of CoronaVirus pandemic, the Executive Governor of Taraba state, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku on Tuesday has directed that All workers on grade levels 1 -12, are to stay at home, with the exception of those on essential duties, such as Health Staff, Fire Services, and Taraba State Water Corporation, effective Wednesday 25th March, 2020.

The directive which takes effect from 25th March 2020, was contained in a Press Release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Hassan Mijinyawa.




The Governor also reminded Tarabans to avoid congested gatherings and equally observe good sense of hygiene

It could be recalled that a few days ago, governor Ishaku set up a technical  team to monitor the influx of people in the state  and to tackle the Corona disease.

Rhapsodi Affos Blog RAB reported that governor Ishaku in his quest to contain the Corona pandemic banned handshake in Taraba  & also ordered the closure of all institutions.
